Promisia Nelson Street is set in a quiet street just a short distance from the shops and services of Feilding township.
We have 49 resthome care rooms available. Hospital and Dementia level care is available at our Ranfurly Manor facility in Feilding.
Nelson Street prides itself on providing care that reflects the uniqueness of each individual resident, providing professional health care and support to maintain independence, health, and dignity, with your input at every stage along the way. Our qualified Diversional Therapist supports residents by creating a stimulating environment and plenty of opportunities to participate in activities that meet the needs of each person both within the home and the community.
We have large lounge areas that can be opened to a deck that leads into our main dining area for residents, and extensive outside garden areas, which include many courtyards to provide quiet spots to sit and reflect or to enjoy time with friends and family/whānau.
All rooms are single rooms, which are spacious and warm, with some having access to shared bathrooms and toilet facilities. We provide furnishings and linen; however, we encourage residents to bring items of their own to make it feel more like home. Rooms with individual toilets or ensuites are also available at an additional cost.

Nelson Street opened in 2017. It is a specialist resthome care provider located in a quiet street just a short distance from the shops and services of Feilding township. Family/whānau and friends are encouraged to visit and participate in the lives and activities of their family/whānau members.
Stimulating & Engaging Environment
Our qualified Diversional Therapist support residents by creating a stimulating environment and plenty of opportunities to participate in activities that meet the needs of each individual both within the home and the community. There is a wide range of activities available including a walking group, trips to the library or swimming, concerts. Participation in the annual Christmas Parade is also looked forward to each year.
People First
Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to make their room their new home away from home. Nelson Street is a social environment with resthome residents enjoying the fellowship that comes from being part of a small active community of people.

At all Promisia aged care facilities, we take pride in developing individual activity programmes that take account of the interests and abilities of residents.
We encourage resident’s family/whānau and friends to be involved. Community volunteers are also actively engaged and this helps support a wide range of possible activities.
